      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process initial applications and reappointments for hospitals, surgical centers, and managed care entities
      - Maintain accurate records of provider licensure and credentials, monitoring renewal activities
      - Update and manage the credentialing database, including demographic and licensure information
      - Ensure compliance with continuing medical education/ACLS credits and other training requirements
      - Perform additional credentialing duties as requested and adhere to company policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent; A.S. or B.S. degree in business administration or healthcare-related field preferred
      - Minimum of five years of experience in credentialing
      - Knowledge of NCQA and/or JCAHO Accreditation standards
      - Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and database management
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CPMSC/CPCS Certification preferred
      - Familiarity with Federal and State Regulations on Confidentiality and Peer Review Guidelines
      - Ability to work independently with limited supervision
