      Schedule : 16-29 hours per week | 3rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am | Rotating weekends and holidays

      Shift Differentials: Beginning 10:31pm - 7:00am $ 0.75

      Department: Chelsea Retirement Community | EVS Department


      What You’ll Do in This Role:


      The Facility Support Personnel will assist in maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents/personnel.

      Primary Responsibilities:

      • Assist with daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
      • Ensure the facility equipment is working properly.
      • Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorizes carpets.
      • Cleans dining rooms and common areas.
      • Clean restrooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day.
      • Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in accordance with department procedures.
      • Assist in cleaning windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
      • Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
      • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Support Manager.
      • Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies.
      • Complete work orders timely through an electronic portal system.
      • Assist with room moves including furniture, clothing, and other personal items.

      What You’ll Need:

      • At least 1 year of experience in custodial work
      • High school diploma or GED (Required)
      • Valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license (Required)
      • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
      • At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work (Preferred)
