What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide education and support to families navigating social, legal, educational, and health care systems for mental health needs
- Facilitate the development of family support plans and community-based support networks
- Assist families in accessing resources, completing forms, and understanding their rights
- Build and maintain partnerships with agencies and service providers related to behavioral health
- Conduct training workshops for families as per contract deliverables

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Personal experience as a primary caregiver of a child, youth, or adult with mental health needs
- Must reside in the State of Maryland
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with state and local resources related to mental health

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong active listening skills for providing non-judgmental peer support
- Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with various agencies
- Competence in using computer resources and internet searches to identify support services
- Current Maryland driver's license and access to a vehicle for in-state travel
