What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide family-to-family support, education, advocacy, and coaching to families with mental health needs
- Assist families in navigating behavioral health, social, legal, educational, and healthcare systems
- Facilitate educational workshops on behavioral health topics for families and caregivers
- Build and maintain partnerships with behavioral health and child-serving agencies
- Act as an ambassador to raise awareness about programs and services offered by the employer

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Personal lived experience as a primary caregiver of a loved one with mental health needs
- Must reside in Caroline or Talbot County
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or professional experience preferred
- Familiarity with state and local resources and how to access them
- Strong written and oral communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience assisting families in obtaining services and supports
- Comfort with public speaking and community outreach
- Willingness to build and maintain partnerships with agencies and providers
- Ability to efficiently utilize internet searches to identify resources
- Familiarity with database usage (Salesforce)
