      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide family-to-family support, education, advocacy, coaching, and information to families navigating behavioral health systems
      - Facilitate educational workshops related to behavioral health topics for families, caregivers, and allies
      - Advocate for families with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
      - Build and maintain partnerships with behavioral health agencies and other service providers
      - Contribute to a centralized directory of resources for families and ensure timely documentation of services delivered

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Personal lived experience as a family member or caregiver of an adult with mental health needs
      - Must reside in Caroline or Talbot County
      - High school diploma or equivalent; some combination of college and/or professional work experience preferred
      - Familiarity with state and local resources and how to access them
      - Strong written and oral communication skills, with active listening abilities for providing peer support

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience assisting families in obtaining services and supports
      - Comfort with public speaking and conducting community outreach
      - Strong computer skills and ability to efficiently utilize internet searches to identify resources
      - Willingness to learn how to use a database (Salesforce)
      - Active ability to build and maintain partnerships with agencies and providers
