What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interpret laws, policies, and regulations as they apply to specific areas of responsibility
- Monitor, coordinate, and administer assigned programs
- Conduct interviews and assess customer needs, including education, skills, and support systems
- Develop and implement individualized service plans and provide case management services
- Provide after-hours on-call coverage and respond to emergencies in child/adult protective services and/or foster care

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a Bachelor's degree in any field with at least two years of relevant experience in Human Services
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices, human behavior, and social problems
- Skill in operating a motor vehicle and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to plan and manage work activities and maintain effective relationships

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Possession of a BSW or MSW degree
- Experience working with families to prevent out-of-home placements
- Knowledge of public child welfare experience, including CPS and Foster Care
- Experience providing court testimony
- Experience working directly with diverse client groups in human services settings
