What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct initial intake assessments and create, implement, and evaluate treatment plans for children and youth in foster care
- Work collaboratively with children/youth, their families, and community resources to facilitate successful transitions
- Educate families and clients on behavior management techniques and provide parenting skills training
- Encourage co-parenting strategies between foster and birth families
- Link children/youth and their families with relevant community resources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with kids/youth and their families, or an Associate's Degree in a Human Service field with one (1) year of experience
- Active and valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and DCS Clearance with satisfactory background check results
- Current Arizona State Driver's License in good standing with a clean driving record for the past three (3) years
- Active personal vehicle registration and liability insurance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with children/youth in foster care or similar settings
- Additional certifications or training in behavioral management or family support services
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse population
