What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with clients to leverage FEA insights for improving product structural performance
- Lead specific projects by running simulations and providing detailed analysis reports
- Document simulation results and make design recommendations based on findings
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to ensure ANSYS application fit
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions for clients on ANSYS technology adoption
What is Required (Qualifications):
- M.S./B.S./B.A. in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering/design
- Minimum of 4 years of FEA/structural analysis experience using ANSYS Mechanical
- Proven expertise in multiple structural analysis methods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with LS-Dyna and ANSYS Motion or similar Multibody Dynamics tools
- Familiarity with nCode or other specialized fatigue codes
- Proficiency in 3D CAD systems, preferably Inventor and/or SolidWorks
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
