What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide advisory support in litigation activities and identify potential risks or considerations
- Represent the agency before various administrative panels (EEOC, MSPB)
- Conduct legal sufficiency analysis of pending performance and disciplinary/adverse action packets
- Assist managers with performance-based and disciplinary actions in accordance with Title 5 of the CFR
- Provide updates to senior leadership on performance and disciplinary actions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Federal HR Employee Relations
- In-depth knowledge of labor relations law theories, principles, methods, and techniques
- Experience with federal employment case law interpretation and applicable CFR and USC requirements
- Familiarity with collective bargaining unit interpretation and application
- Exceptional analytical and advisory skills
