What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct calls and visits to dealerships to capture potential deals for the employer
- Perform field underwriting and buying, ensuring deals are profitable
- Analyze credit reports, income calculations, and book values to validate deals
- Interact with customers, dealers, and various outside entities to investigate deals thoroughly
- Track deal performance through monitoring early charge-offs and credit-adjusted yields
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of college education; graduate degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and demonstrate solid critical thinking abilities
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required for the position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a financial services or underwriting role
- Familiarity with Daybreak or similar retail consumer servicing systems
- Proficiency in web navigation and web-based applications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
