As a member of Network Infrastructure’s Deployment Services, you will be a part of a team whose objectives are to deploy systems in an environment where innovation, trust and autonomy are encouraged; each team member works on ever-changing projects while exchanging daily with their teammates on progress and challenges.

      What you will learn and contribute to

      As part of the team, your responsibilities are:

      • Execution & Supervision of the onsite Telecom Implementation activities. Trouble shooting, Support & supervision of onsite team to perform Installation & Commissioning (I&C) according to Nokia specifications and according to the Method of Procedure (MoP).

      • Manages clearance of site defects with suppliers and approves site readiness prior to the Site Acceptance by the Nokia customer. Coordinates and facilitates Telecom Implementation with relevant stakeholders

      • Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Manages clearance of site defects with suppliers and approves site readiness prior to the Site Acceptance by the Nokia customer.

      • Supervises the execution of the onsite Telecom Implementation activities in liaison with the Roll out Manager & 3P contractor for whole or part of a customer project, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations, timeline and required quality.

      • Support & supervise onsite team to perform installation & commissioning according to Nokia specifications

      • Contributes to the development of the roll out plans with the Roll Out Manager

      • Follows up and reports the work progress related to time schedule and quality to Roll out Manager and escalates the deviations

      • Follows up service supplier performance and report to Roll out Manager.

      • Perform site surveys by collecting and documenting the information for site engineering team

      Your skills and experience

      • More than 7 years experience in Telecom with at least 3 years field experience

      • Deep knowledge of electrical codes and Telecom Industry standard

      • Understanding of IP, Optical and XPON concept and technology

      • Hands on experience with product test and configuration

      • Self motivated, Team player and out of box thinker

      • Minimum 7 years field experience

      • Over 75% travel time

  • About the company

      Nokia’s transition to a primary focus on telecommunications began in the 1990s. The first GSM call was made in 1991 using Nokia equipment. Rapid success in the mobile phone sector allowed Nokia to become by 1998, the best-selling mobile phone brand in the world. In 2003 Nokia introduced the first camera phone. In 2011, to address increasing competition from iOS and Android operating systems, Nokia entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft. In 2014 Nokia sold its mobile and devices division to Microsoft. The creation of Nokia Networks, following the buy-out of joint-venture partner Siemens in 2013, laid the foundation for Nokia’s transformation into primarily a network hardware and software provider. The 2015 acquisition of Franco-American telecommunications equipment provider Alcatel-Lucent greatly broadened the scope of Nokia’s portfolio and customer base. Additional acquisitions have positioned Nokia to be an industry leader in the transition to 5G wireless technology by offering the only end-to-end 5G network portfolio available on a global basis. In 2016 the Nokia brand re-entered the mobile handset market through a licensing agreement with HMD Global, allowing them to offer phones under the Nokia brand.
