Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Engineer to join our Remote Operations Center team specializing in power generation equipment. This role requires a hands-on problem solver with expertise in monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing the performance of power generation systems. The Field Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, uptime, and efficiency of distributed assets

Job Description: Field Engineer – Remote Operations Center

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor power generation equipment using remote monitoring systems to identify abnormalities and trends.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment performance issues remotely, escalating field service calls when necessary.
• Analyze operational data to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Recommend and implement adjustments or upgrades to enhance efficiency.
• Provide real-time support to field technicians and site operators during troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Act as a technical liaison between the Remote Operations Center and on-site teams.
• Generate and analyze operational performance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation of equipment status, interventions, and resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards during all remote and field operations.
• Support compliance with industry and company-specific protocols.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to address operational challenges.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives within the organization.

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in oil and gas, power generation, renewable energy, or industrial operations.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, data analytics platforms, and remote diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools (e.g., predictive maintenance technologies).
• Power Generation Equipment or Renewable Energy Systems Certification (e.g., Siemens, GE, Caterpillar, etc.).
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and make critical decisions in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and respond to operational emergencies.
• This position is primarily based in a Remote Operations Center with occasional travel to field sites as needed.
• May involve non-standard working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on operational requirements.
