      Who we're looking for:

      The Field Implementation Specialist (FIS) plays a critical role in implementing Navigator's offerings by working closely with the Navigator sales team, members, and food distributors, to create efficient and effective food programs. In addition, the FIS provides product-based account support to ensure members are optimizing food spend and food distributors are meeting the program's requirements. This role serves as the liaison for members' purchasing and dietary leadership to help guide product decisions for compliance and conversion opportunities.

      What You'll Be Doing:

      Onboarding and Education:

      • On-board new members, providing education on program details and ensuring that order guides maximize products in support of Navigator's manufacturer and distribution partners.


      Reporting and Optimization:

      • Present quarterly optimization reports to members in coordination with the sales team.
      • Provide detailed optimization follow-up to Navigator's Formulary team, Foodbuy, and distribution partners.


      Collaboration and Coordination:

      • Collaborate with Foodbuy personnel, broker partners, and distributors to achieve a common objective (product adoption, cutting coordination, and stocking).
      • Coordinate with Navigator's Operations and Formulary teams in support of Navigator's sales team and members.
      • Work with the Manufacturer Engagement team in support of corporate manufacturer targeted initiatives.


      Product and Compliance Support:

      • Provide insight to assist members with SKU rationalization and standardization, utilizing group best practices and operations knowledge, to aid in member PPD management.
      • Serve as the liaison for members' purchasing and dietary leadership to help guide product decisions for compliance and conversion opportunities.


      Educational Material Presentation:

      • Coordinate and/or present educational material across a variety of settings and methods.


      What You'll Bring to the Table:

      • Bachelor's degree in business administration or science preferred and/or related field or equivalent experience required
      • 3-5 years' experience in healthcare operations and/or experience working within the food distribution industry.
      • Experience aligning dietary requirements with menu needs for large organizations.
      • Analytical mindset; enjoys working with customers to solve problems.
      • Customer-facing backgrounds in sales or sales support a plus.
      • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
