In collaboration with stakeholders across Medical Strategy & Ops, RDSO, GCC, GL&P, GCO, and US Field Medical Leadership, the Senior Manager is an integral position in driving initiatives that enhance the impact of Field Medical. The position has a future focus with regular horizon scanning for aspects related to external scientific engagement and is accountable for a broad scope of responsibilities, including:

      • Driving enhancements of an integrated engagement system, including stakeholder profiling, incorporation of scientific engagement plans, documentation of interactions, evaluation of analytics, and insight generation

      • Partnering on transformation initiatives as a Medical Change Agent

      • Using a future focus to drive evolution of MSL systems, processes, reporting and new technologies

      • Working cross-functionally to ensure MSL preparedness and effectiveness in a rapidly changing healthcare ecosystem

      • Actively supporting and enhancing career development of colleagues within Field Medical

      • Collaborating with key stakeholders to showcase the impact of Field Medical

      • Partnering with Global Learning and Performance to help determine strategy, content, and execution of training programs to enhance MSL effectiveness in the field

      • Working cross-functionally to onboard integrated teams

      • Ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures

      • Managing project-associated budgets and vendors

      Basic Qualifications

      Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Science Liaison experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years of Medical Science Liaison experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Medical Science Liaison experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Medical Science Liaison experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Medical Science Liaison experience

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (Other Doctoral Degrees considered)

      • Seven years of industry experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company

      • Three or more years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research. Experience in a medically related field can include post-doctoral training (i.e., residencies and/or fellowships)

      The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $144,244 - $180,468.
