What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Meet or exceed assigned territory sales targets by maintaining and growing sales in current accounts while identifying and closing business in new accounts
- Accurately forecast prospects through the sales cycle and maintain a balanced list of prospects reflecting sales targets
- Cultivate key accounts and interpret customer needs to identify appropriate solutions
- Provide sales territory information, forecasts, reports, and other business data through the employer's management structure
- Develop and maintain a territory database while enhancing sales skills through technical and sales training
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or equivalent scientific degree or work experience
- Minimum of five years of sales experience in related industries, demonstrating success
- Experience and knowledge of Mass Spectrometry technology, including LC-MS, GC-MS, and MALDI-MS
- Proficiency in contact management database software and MS Office; ability to learn new software
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
