- Implement and maintain TOMRA automation solutions for customers in India and the APAC region.
- Provide expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting and system integration.
- Offer technical support to resolve complex automation issues and ensure high system uptime.
- Manage and support food sorting and peeling line technologies.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors.
- Deliver exceptional service quality, ensuring compliance and exceeding customer expectations.
- Represent TOMRA Food as a trusted partner, focused on maximising system performance.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and integration of automation systems at customer sites.
- Collaborate with third-party providers for seamless system integrations.
- Ensure adherance to project timelines, budgets and quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of TOMRA Food's automation systems, including hardware and software enhancements.
- Design and implement testing plans to improve efficiency and performance.
- Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Train customers and team members on TOMRA Food systems and solutions.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, peer reviews and cross-functional collaboration to foster innovation.
- Promote a safety-first culture within TOMRA Food, among customers, and across the industry.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team performance and customer experience.
- Accurately document work, timekeeping, and expense records.
- Comply with company policies, quality management systems, and the Code of Conduct.
- Foster effective communication, provide constructive feedback, and actively support the organisation’s vision and values.
- Degree or Diploma in Automation, Electrical or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation and PLC programming.
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, HMI programming, and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with food sorting and peeling machines is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi (additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with ANZ region operations is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across APAC (up to 70% of the role), including both domestic and regional trips.
- Valid passport is mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting (up to 25kg).
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and varied environments, including food processing plants, farms, and cold storage facilities.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
- No major food allergies affecting the ability to work near nuts, fruits, and vegetables.

Job Description
