Job Summary / Responsibilities:
With limited supervision from Pigging Service Manager, coordinates and executes pigging system services and maintenance of pigging systems, duties on pipeline systems to execute pigging technologies service offerings.
Other Duties / Expectations:
Responsibility Expectation/Measurements
Provides field supervision to coordinate the execution of pipeline pigging services and the maintenance of WeldFit or customer owned pigging system equipment.
Provide training for customer operations personnel on launching and receiving pigs, operation of the pigging system, and troubleshooting the pigging system to enable individuals to operate and perform general maintenance activities on their automated pigging system.
Responsibility Expectation/Measurements
Provide preventative maintenance on customer owned launcher/receiver systems to maintain the operation and extend the service-life of the pigging system.
Ensures maintenance of pipeline pigging equipment is completed and documented to develop pigging reports for customer.
Maintain good communication with customers to ensure long lasting relationships are maintained
Procedures
Responsibility Expectation/Measurements
Support the factory fabrication and assembly of pigging systems and perform the factory acceptance test procedures prior to delivery to customer’s pipeline facility.
Maintains DOT “Operator Qualification” task requirements to work on regulated pipeline systems.
Building Pigging Systems
Responsibility Expectation/Measurements
Oversee the in-field pipeline assembly and fabrication of temporary and permanent pigging facilities as required by the service agreement.
Provide pipeline operators with design support for the installation of automated pigging systems or retrofitting existing pigging system with automation.
Commissioning of pigging systems to bring the pigging system into service and perform a field acceptance test (FAT) to ensure the system’s performance.
Miscellaneous
Responsibility Expectation/Measurements
Maintain daily operating reports for employees and equipment utilized on customer projects. Completes and submits weekly expense and timesheet reports as scheduled.
Complete reports in Field Service app or Sales Force daily to ensure billings can be completed weekly.
Begin to develop electrical knowledge to be able to perform “in the field” program changes and troubleshooting of electrical systems on WeldFit provided equipment.
Other duties may be assigned.
