Job Description:


A leader in geotechnical construction and engineering, is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Construction Inspectors. They focus on private sector development, including projects such as big box retail, restaurants, convenience stores, and strip malls. This role is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the geotechnical engineering and inspections field.



Key Responsibilities:


**Conduct construction phase testing and inspection of various components, including foundations, earthwork, soil compaction, concrete, and reinforcing steel.

**Operate tools and equipment such as the Nuclear Density Gauge for soil testing or Slump Cones for concrete slump testing.

**Ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

**Provide reliable and accurate reporting on site conditions and inspection outcomes.




Additional Information:


**Local Travel: This role requires local travel to various job sites.

**Transportation: Use of personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed monthly.

**Work Arrangement: Hybrid role combining field inspections and work-from-home reporting.

**Equipment: No company vehicle provided.




Schedule:

**Monday to Friday, 7-8 AM to 3-5 PM.

**Occasional weekend work may be required during the busy summer season.

**Commute to job sites is compensated.

Job Requirements:

** 1+ years of geotechnical construction inspection experience, with ACI certificate

OR

** Associates or Bachelors in related field (civil engineering, civil engineering technologies, geotechnical engineering, etc) with strong interest in geotechnical engineering - willing to do inspections to get their foot in the door
