What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, budgeting, and planning
- Prepare and submit various financial transactions and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Run ad hoc queries to analyze financial data and ensure compliance with internal and external policies
- Develop policies and procedures, providing recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on sensitive financial matters

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible relevant work experience
- Completion of 36 hours of accounting courses or demonstrate proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP)
- Prior experience in an Academic Health Center or relevant financial analysis
- Highly proficient with PC applications, including databases and spreadsheets

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Oracle Financial Applications and Microsoft Suite
