      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Gather and analyze financial data, producing accessible reports and performing various analyses using key metrics
      - Provide forecasting support and process financial transactions, budgeting, and report consolidation
      - Analyze budget variances and provide recommendations to correct negative trends
      - Prepare financial reports and projections with options for improving budget performance and cost efficiency
      - Assist in the preparation of Operating and Capital budgets and perform cost-benefit analyses of programs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
      - Proficiency in database and spreadsheet applications
      - Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP)
      - Prior experience in an Academic Health Center or relevant financial analysis
      - Intermediate spreadsheet skills, including complex functions and formulas

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of directly related experience
      - Proficiency in Oracle & Cognos/Rubix software, including General Ledger and iProcurement
      - Experience in central funding, allocations, and state funding
      - Familiarity with OHSU Fiscal Policies and Procedures
