What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer and process semi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple states using BambooHR
- Maintain accurate payroll records and manage tax responsibilities, including compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions
- Assist the Director of Finance with bookkeeping and month-end close activities
- Prepare and manage the company’s tax database and adhere to tax filing deadlines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Minimum of four years of experience in a finance role
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices, labor laws, and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-state payroll tax and registering state withholding accounts
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial matters clearly

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and familiarity with spreadsheets and databases
- Keen attention to detail for financial records and data entry
- Strong mathematics skills for accurate recordkeeping
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial duties effectively
