What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families regarding financial aid options and processes
- Assist in completing financial aid forms, including FAFSA and institutional documentation
- Evaluate and process financial aid applications in accordance with regulations
- Conduct workshops and outreach activities to educate about financial aid opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and financial aid determinations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of financial aid experience, or an Associate degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of one (1) year of data entry and professional customer service experience
- Must not currently be in default on any Federal Student Loans
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and explain complex financial aid concepts

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and policies
- Proficiency with financial aid systems such as Anthology or PowerFAIDS
- One (1) year of experience in a proprietary online higher education environment
- Ability to adapt to changing regulations and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
