      We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Fully Remote - Malaysia, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

      Roles and Responsibilities

      • Monthly Financial reporting, e.g. distributing regular reports for the areas of the businesses we support (e.g. - Technology Solutions and Cybersecurity)
      • Month-end activities including processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system.
      • Analysing journals, producing data analysis and reports and assist with variance analysis.
      • Review of the balance sheet recons prepared by the outsource provider and recommending actions to senior management
      • Communicate clearly with the business/operations teams to help investigate matters and articulate the impact to the P&L
      • Work closely with and support the two onshore Principal Management Accountants, as well as onshore Accountant
      • Assist with internal & external audit queries
      • Help ensure effective financial controls are maintained, including review of systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.

      Essential Skills:

      • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and detect irregularities.
      • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and internal management reporting
      • Communication Skills: Effectively communicating requirements as well as outcomes of analysis to various stakeholders.
      • Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding relevant laws and regulations that impact financial operations.

      What would make you a good fit for this role?

      • 5+ years’ work experience in a similar role
      • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
      • Intermediate Excel skills
      • SAP experience
      • Demonstrate high analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
      • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to a wide range of audiences
      • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and administration skills
      • Works well under pressure
      • An active team player
