What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the coordination, preparation, and analytical review of financial and operational reports, financial statements, and budgets
- Analyze historical and projected financial data to provide leadership with relevant information for decision-making
- Prepare information to support developing trends that will inform forecasts and management decisions
- Identify and utilize technology and best practices to ensure continuous process improvement
- Efficiently retrieve and compile financial data and statistical information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in a related field
- 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Entry-level understanding of financial statements, analytical techniques, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the institution
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPA and/or Master's Degree in Business or related field
- Experience in Health Systems and Academic Medicine
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance specific to sponsored research
- Progressive development of the ability to analyze and evaluate data
- Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to accomplish goals
