What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform verification and accuracy checks monthly on all assigned accounts, ensuring corrections are identified and reported timely
- Search each carrier statement for payment inconsistencies or errors, ensuring plan participants are charged correctly
- Implement strategic processes and evaluate methods that provide accurate results
- Communicate effectively with internal and external business partners, clearly explaining analytical data
- Follow standard operating procedures related to timely payment and reconciliation, adapting to changes as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with an advanced understanding of the reconciliation process
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to apply critical thought
- Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to explain issues and present resolutions clearly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with billing procedures and reconciliation processes
- Additional certifications in finance or accounting would be beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
