Job Description

Collaborate with Sourcing team to obtain product cost data
Collaborate with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and Engineering team to monitor and verify BoM changes
Utilize internal cost system to generate BoM (Bill of Materials) cost rollup report and comparison report
Setup and maintain correct personnel, assembly and commodity settings in the cost system
Make sure cost data in system is up to date
Assist in generating bi-weekly product cost report
Assist in generating quarterly product savings report
Develop tools to enhance cost management workflow and improve efficiency
Lead/Participate ad hoc cost analytics projects
BS or BA degree, 5+ years experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or related fields. Past experience in high tech industry is preferred
Have knowledge of hardware product development process and Bill of Materials concept
Excellent G-Suite or MS Office Skills. Mastery skills of Google Sheets or Excel is a must
Excellent data analysis skills, ability to build database and reporting tools by using SQL, VB or other programming language
Must have great attention to detail as well as the ability to work independently
Possess project management skills, can deal with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
Good written and spoken communication skills
Fast learner, can do attitude
