      Actively looking to hire a financial analyst to join a large insurance company in the Miami FL area! This is a 3 days on site and 2 days remote role. This company will eventually move into a 5 days a week on site role by end of the year. Must be bilingual in Spanish!

      Duties:

      o Prepare and compile financial reports, including profit and loss statements (P&Ls), for the Quarterly Forecast Cycles (two per quarter), Annual Operating Plan Cycle , Annual Strategic Plan Cycle and monthly end close.

      o Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams across the LatAm region to gather and assess financial data from multiple countries and business units and sources.

      o Maintain financial models up to date in planning tool, to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making processes.

      o Collaborate with IT consultants to ensure the effective performance of planning tool and support developments/improvements to the planning tool (TM1).

      o Process and consolidate data feeds from various sources, including Reinsurance, Actuarial, and Amortization data, to ensure accuracy in reporting.

      o Execute quality control measures to maintain data integrity, including checks for data mismatches and currency exchange accuracy.

      o Provide training to users on financial reporting tool and processes to ensure optimized usage and understanding.

      o Develop user-friendly templates and dashboards in Qliksense and PowerBI that enhance reporting clarity and visibility.

      o Identify opportunities for process optimization within financial reporting procedures, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.

      o Streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting procedures to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.

      o Participate in special projects as needed, offering insights and financial expertise to support organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, or a related field, preferably in a multinational environment.

      • Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

      • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, VBA)

      • Experience with database management (e.g., SQL, Access) desired.

      • Familiarity with reporting and BI tools such as TM1, QlikView, Power BI, Alteryx, or equivalent is preferred.

      • Fluency in English and Spanish is required;

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
