Job Description: Real Estate Finance Analyst

Location: Remote (Candidates from LATAM or South Africa)

Compensation: $1,500 - $2,500 USD/month

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Finance Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting financial analysis and underwriting for new real estate deals while working closely with the founder and our in-person team. Your insights and contributions will help shape critical investment decisions, streamline market research, and strengthen deal execution processes.

This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate remotely with a fast-paced, high-impact real estate investment team.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling: Transcribe rent rolls and profit & loss statements into Excel to underwrite deals and set up financial models.
• Market Analysis: Conduct rent and rate surveys for specific markets to assess opportunities.
• Data Management: Assist in databasing new markets by scanning aerials and gathering relevant data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Deal Support: Construct due diligence files for deals under contract, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with the in-person team, providing timely analysis and market insights to support their sales and investment efforts.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in real estate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Market Research: Familiarity with rent surveys and market trend analysis.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with a remote and in-person team.
• Proactive Approach: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in real estate underwriting or investment analysis.
• Familiarity with real estate markets in North America.
