- Education or experience in agricultural economics, farming, or farm financial planning
- Experience in assisting farmers with financial analysis and effective farm management decisions
- Ability to obtain a valid driver's license or provide personal transportation for work purposes
- Commitment to regular in-state travel, approximately 20% of the time

- Experience with agricultural lending and knowledge of funding sources
- Familiarity with management transfer techniques, including buy-sell agreements and trusts
