Consistent track record and experience in Gifts & Entertainment process review with the ability to assess risk and make high risk business decisions
Proven experience in Financial Crime processes including Anti-bribery and corruption
Experience of representing team in key committees and able to influence multiple stakeholders
Proven capability to simplify sophisticated concepts and articulate them to multifaceted audiences, particularly in writing, and able to distil key messages for director level
Experience within the Insurance and/or Financial Services industry
Salary circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Financial Crime Compliance Manager -Salary circa £55,000
Are you someone who is an expert in Gifts & Entertainment and Anti-bribery and corruption processes and prides themselves on their communication skills? If so, this is a great opportunity to join our Financial Crime, Policy and Oversight team as a Financial Crime Compliance Manager!
A bit about the job:
The individual will support 1st line Financial Crime oversight across the businesses and will ensure Compliance with the Bribery and Corruption risks faced by the UK Life businesses are identified, run and reported; to promote compliance with the Star-Compliance and Gifts & Entertainment policies across UK Life Holdings; to ensure escalation and referral process remains effective; to ensure adequate and appropriate support is given to front line staff at all times; and respond to queries and interrogate MI.
The Financial Crime Compliance Manager strives to maintain and improve the Financial Crime framework, embedding standard process and acting as an ambassador for change. The role requires working in partnership with/support the Managing Directors for the various UKL business areas ensuring that all Bribery and Corruption Risk is handled within appetite and that the business responds appropriately to new developments in financial crime regulation.
The role holder will work closely with Technology and Financial Crime Change functions to build an industry leading analytics capability. Key relationships within Aviva include Market Heads of Financial Crime and Markets Financial Crime teams in addition to key partners in Enterprise Risk and Compliance and Internal Audit. The role holder will have to influence at levels at significantly higher level of seniority in presenting findings relating to risk assessments or in resolving risk appetite or suggesting changes/refinements to it.
