What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform assessments of alerted customer activity generated from transaction monitoring software
- Ensure timely identification and escalation of unusual activity
- Analyze customer activity to determine whether it requires further escalation
- Draft reports and document analysis to support decision-making
- Apply critical thinking skills to detect and report potentially suspicious activity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of industry-related experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of BSA/AML rules, laws, and regulations preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- CAMS certification preferred
- Experience in a bank operating environment and applicable systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
