      What is the opportunity?

      As a Financial Solutions Specialist you will be part of a great RBC community of colleagues who share an interest in helping clients thrive and communities prosper. Your focus will be on delivering a client experience to a portfolio of team managed clients engaging in discovery conversations and working collaboratively with other RBC partners to meet clients’ full suite of financial needs. You will be part of a digitally enabled relationship bank that is focused on providing digital solutions that will help clients save time and money. Your ability to develop relationships with both internal and external partners is crucial to your success, particularly within the community, agents of auto dealerships where applicable and other Centers of Influence.

      What will you do?

      • Deliver an exceptional client experience, providing advice and solutions to meet clients’ immediate and future needs drawing on your expertise in the areas of everyday banking, credit solutions and investments, maximizing every client opportunity to learn more about them and their families.
      • Leverage your own capabilities including proactive calls and partnering with your One RBC colleagues to attract, nurture and grow client relationships to meet client’s entire suite of banking needs.
      • Retain and grow a “team managed” portfolio of credit worthy clients assisting the full branch team in welcoming clients to the branch, participating in advice events and supporting community events.
      • You are an RBC ambassador to your family, friends, and communities we serve. You use, educate, and demonstrate to our clients and employees, RBC’s Multi-Channel & Digital solutions. You are a role model to branch employees on going digital.
      • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests when doing business with clients.

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must-have

      • Demonstrated passion for exceptional client experience, providing advice and solutions to meet clients’ needs.
      • Desirous of learning more about credit sales and networking capabilities to achieve referrals, new clients, and increased opportunities.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Minimum 2 years in client service or banking
      • University degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or equivalent qualifications (consideration will be given to individuals pursuing a degree)

      Nice-to-have

      • Experience and exposure in credit sales
      • Good knowledge of the market & competitors
      • For Trinidad & Tobago - At least 2 years working experience in the advice and sale of mutual funds.
