Financial Support Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial processes include treasury activities along with providing support to the Business Analysis team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle receipt, banking and protection of company funds, securities and financial products.
• Transfer/receive money using multiple protocols both domestic and international.
• Maintain and evolve an efficient system of policies and procedures that adequately control treasury activities.
• Ensure sufficient funds are available to cover operational and capital investment needs including but not limited to payroll accounts and corporate restaurant accounts among others.
• Monitor third party activities handling outsourced treasury functions.
• Partner closely with the Accounting team to coordinate all money movement.
• Support day-to-day treasury related activities required for controlled management.
• Support the Business Analysis team with production of data, reports and other materials relevant to their support of business leaders.
• Develop a knowledge of the brand P&L, key drivers, and the ability to use this knowledge in the review and communication of opportunities found on franchise and corporate restaurant P&Ls.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high-level attention to detail, highly organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
• High degree of process interest and orientation.
• Strong communication skills necessary to interact with cross functional leadership with the goal of understanding business objectives and providing insight analytics and reporting in support of achieving those objectives.
• Proficient use of MS Excel
• Demonstrated critical thinking, verbal reasoning, and quantitative analytical ability.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities to completion by committed deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field preferred
