What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, implement, and oversee the local Emergency Response Team
- Organize, schedule, and conduct drills and training for emergency response operations
- Provide technical support and guidance in fire protection and emergency response
- Perform reviews of fire protection systems and document findings for compliance
- Act as incident command and prepare reports detailing findings for emergency response operations

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in Fire Science or EMS curriculum preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of previous experience as a full-time industrial firefighter or similar
- Technically proficient in understanding and applying NFPA and FM Global standards
- Thorough knowledge of firefighting methods, first aid, and rescue techniques
- Valid motor vehicle operator's or basic commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving record

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior completion of state-approved Firefighter I and II training
- Experience assessing high hazard occupancies (flammable liquids, combustible dusts, etc.)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to function calmly and efficiently under stress
- Self-sufficient and organized
