What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to incoming borrower interactions, including inbound and outbound calls and web chats
- Update information on accounts in the Loan Servicing and/or consolidation systems
- Resolve customer needs by taking ownership of escalated calls
- Contact customers on accounts and perform outbound customer contact as necessary
- Serve as a resource for new associates, assisting with their training needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 3 years of customer service experience and/or general office experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business math
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of the student loan industry, Loan Servicing, and/or Originations systems
- Experience in a performance-based organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated teamwork and service excellence
