Job summary
#TeamCastle are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our fabulous team of 15 GPs (7 Partners, 8 Salaried) for a 12 month period to cover maternity within the Team.
We are looking for a minimum of 6 sessions per week, which will be based across all three of our Norwich sites.
The successful applicant will manage a patient list of 200 patients per session (administratively) and see patients who are acutely unwell on the day as well as routinely for pre-existing or non urgent presentations.
Our letters are managed mainly by the Pharmacy Team so admin is minimal. We have a Home Visiting Service so visits are also minimal.
The successful applicant will benefit from daily clinical meetings (blocked from your ledger), 15 minute appointments (11 per session), monthly Education and Clinical Governance meetings and regular Team social events.
Main duties of the job
Working across the three practice sites, contributing to 'Link/Late Call/Duty GP' on a pro rata basis, supporting our Home Visiting Team by triaging visit requests, supporting our Care Home Visiting Nurses with step-down beds and palliative care beds at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.
