      Job Description

      Wonderful Orchards is looking for a Fleet Systems Intern to join its Fleet Management Department. This role supports systems and activities for the Wonderful Orchards maintenance shops. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on professional, with the ability to lead projects. This position reports to the Senior Fleet Systems Manager.

      Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

      • Assist in the rollout and activation of automated mobile fueling system.
      • Monitor system performance and conduct field testing to ensure functionality.
      • Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with field hardware.
      • Develop and document a maintenance process for field hardware and system reliability.
      • Collect, analyze, and report data to support decision-making and process improvements.
      • Coordinate with technical staff, field teams, and vendors to support ongoing operations.
      • Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      • Must be a Wonderful Scholar in Sophomore, Junior, or senior year of college.
      • Must be 18 years of age.
      • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
      • Prior internship or project experience in operations, field systems, or hardware/software integration (preferred but not required).

      SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

      • Bilingual English/ Spanish required
      • Using a Multimeter safely
      • Basic electrical schematic reading
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Interest in IoT, field systems, or mobile automation technologies.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Technical troubleshooting skills are a plus.

      LICENCES:

      • CA Valid Driver’s License required

      -Pay Rate: $18.50/hr.
