      We put our hearts and souls into creating the future of food and we’re looking for you to help us make it happen in Manchester. As a Food Designer, you’ll be part of one of our platform teams, delivering projects to drive both Innovation, Renovation and Cost & Network Optimisation.

      You will operate in a collaborative culture ensuring the future success of the business is delivered through a proactive and innovative approach to food and process initiatives.

      Your role will be based between our Media City, Manchester Office & Trafford Pilot Plant on a hybrid work schedule and on occasion will travel nationally and internationally.

      HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

      • Modify existing products and processes and develop new ones.
      • Research current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts.
      • Select raw materials and other ingredients from suppliers.
      • Prepare product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products.
      • Run trials of new products in both our Kellanova plants and our co-mans.
      • Deal with any customer complaint investigations or product issues.

      YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

      • Hold a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.
      • Sound theoretical technical knowledge of food development
      • Passion for creative product development and industrial experience in the food sector
      • Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
      • Show high levels of proactivity and a desire to drive results whilst keeping the consumer at the heart of everything that we do.
