Prepare food item quantities as assigned for meal service following all safe food handling procedures.

Sets up station with correct signage for service, take food orders and complete ensuring all standards for appearance, portion and quality are met, answers questions from customers; as well as, tearing station down at the end of the meal period, cleaning and completing daily station cleaning checklist prior to the end of the shift.

Stock supplies in preparation of assigned meal periods.

Practice excellent customer service using our 10 preferred Service Behaviors.

Complete all required logs and documents for station or assigned areas; comply with allfederal, state, local and hospital regulatory bodies

Complete all prep work for the next day on assigned station and assist others as directed.

Compilation of any primary or secondary education

Summary/Objective
The Food Service Worker is responsible for a variety of tasks in the kitchen area, service line and dishwashing areas. These tasks include serving food, cooking on grill, evaluating food appearance and good customer service skills; as well as, monitoring for proper handling of food and cleaning.
