Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in our daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts, or manually as needed.
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying accuracy against bills of lading and packing slips.
• Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipping.
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and warehouse areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with returns, restocking, and cycle counts.
• Use scanners, tablets, or WMS systems to track and document product movement.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Support other departments or functions as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer or handheld device experience.
• Forklift certification is a plus, or willingness to be certified.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

We offer guaranteed 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities (average 10 hours per week) and occasional Saturday shifts. You will have room for growth and advancement within a dynamic team environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a standard distribution center. The schedule is Monday to Friday with some Saturdays. The first shift typically starts at 7 am and ends at 3:30 pm, but you must be available from 6 am to 5:30 pm. Overtime averages 10 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
