Forklift Operator
Description:If you have experience operating sit-down forklifts and you're looking for a new position ASAP, then this is the position for you.
A large, non-climate-controlled paper recycling plant in Omaha, Nebraska, is looking for experienced Material Handlers to join their team. This role involves forklift operation for 90% of the shift and 10% of the time will be spent on cleaning and maintenance tasks such as emptying boxes and throwing them into the compactor. Loading and unloading trailers is a critical skill for this position.
Skills:
Experience Level: Entry-Expert Level (experience with Linde forklifts is a plus)
Location:On-site at 8635 Military Rd, Omaha, Nebraska, 68134-1844, United States
Pay:$18.00 - $20.00/hr (Depending on experience)

Work Environment: The work environment is a large recycling plant with cardboard and paper covering the warehouse floors. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, although forklifts are equipped with heaters and will have air conditioning by September. Employees are required to wear jeans and steel-toed boots at all times. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to handle extreme temperatures.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
