What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively recruit and engage potential foster and kinship parents through community events, professional networks, and social media
- Build relationships and educate the community on the urgent need for foster parents
- Conduct strategic outreach to inspire individuals to foster specialized populations, including LGBTQ+ youth and high-needs children
- Support families through the certification process by providing necessary training and resources
- Collaborate with team members to drive recruitment efforts and enhance community engagement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Service or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment/marketing or foster care, particularly in human relations, social services, behavioral/social sciences, non-profit, education, or child development
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
- SAFE Certification (can be completed upon hire)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience within the foster care system and knowledge of Vol. 7 Colorado State Rules and Regulations
