- Creates and nurtures relationships with RE/MAX franchisees, real estate agents and other strategic partners using industry knowledge, communication and relationship development skills to advance business opportunities
- Serves as an accountability partner to conduct business reviews and analysis with franchisees to calibrate their goals with RE/MAX, LLC goals, as well as provide candid conversations regarding the franchisee’s state of business.
- Coach our franchisees and provide skilled knowledge toward growing a thriving real estate brokerage through recruitment, development and retention of agents.
- Takes initiative, is a results-oriented problem solver. Identifies customer needs and delivers a world class customer experience.
- Consults and collaborates with multiple departments and ensures franchisee compliance including renewals, contract enforcement and accounts receivable management. Provide input for expansions and/or resales and transfers
- Assists with the facilitation of training and events, must be comfortable giving presentations to large groups.
- Be a good brand ambassador and live the company’s core M.O.R.E. values.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or four years of related work experience
- 3-5 years of franchise development, business operations management or business consulting experience
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem solving and communication skills
- Successful in building customer relationships and ability to provide premier customer service
- Ability to handle self-directed work environment
- Ability to speak in front of groups or open to coaching to develop this skill
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management Software Helpful
- Ability to travel approximately 25% for office visits and conferences

Hire Range/Rate:
$70,000/Annually
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.

The Franchise Development Consultant (FDC) will act as the primary liaison between the RE/MAX franchisee and RE/MAX World Headquarters while providing comprehensive consulting services. Your success is determined by your ability to influence and motivate franchisees to meet and exceed growth standards through recruiting and retention.
This person is responsible for the overall success of a client portfolio consisting of Broker/Owners located in a specific region. The FDC is the main point of contact, relationship manager and liaison between the franchisee and RE/MAX, LLC and guides Broker/Owners through the “RE/MAX Experience.” This includes identifying customer needs and leveraging key internal resources, as needed, to achieve desired results. Being learning based, able to lead, develop, and influence are attributes necessary to be a successful Franchise Development Consultant.
Preferred candidate location would be Colorado or North Carolina. Please note that for the first six months, new hire would be obligated to travel to our Headquarters in Denver once a month for our Broker 101 Training (typically a Sunday evening to Thursday evening requirement). If the candidate is in Denver, the role is hybrid with two days per week minimum in office.
