What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze large datasets of financial transactions to identify trends, anomalies, and potential fraud indicators
- Monitor real-time transaction data to detect suspicious activities and take swift action

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-year degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or 4 years' experience in fraud detection, risk management, or financial investigations
- Proven knowledge of fraud investigation techniques and financial regulations related to fraud
- High proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools for fraud detection
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and maintain confidentiality

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS) are highly preferred
- Experience working in banking, credit unions, or financial institutions
- Familiarity with fraud detection systems like Verafin
- Understanding of fraud vendors, tools, applications, and solutions
