What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Fraud department leaders in analytical research and emerging trends analysis
- Monitor key fraud metrics to proactively identify and address potential risks
- Respond quickly to fraud rings and collaborate with the business to implement new strategies
- Assist other Fraud Analysts in developing the fraud monitoring strategy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve fraud insights and capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of relevant analytical experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4+ years with a master’s degree in a quantitative field
- Proficient in data analysis using SQL, with a strong eagerness to acquire new technical skills
- Strong analytical capabilities, skilled in identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies in data
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Experience in the financial services industry (credit cards, loans, or similar instruments)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with BI tools, including Sigma
- Experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or related fields
- Ability to see the big picture and think long-term
- Strong growth mindset and proactive ownership of projects
