Background

As DSV is expanding and we see an increase in complexity in product mix, requirements and legislation we need to strengthen the focus on implementation of tools, processes and procedures.

We need to optimize our business, lean our processes and capture best practices so we stay ahead of our competitors and increase the loyalty of existing and future customers.

To ensure we have an up-to-date oversight of the level of compliance, risks associated to customers’ needs and expectations as well to identify best practices across the organization, we must gather insights from the organization.

Joining QHSE & Sustainability Air & Sea as a business improvement auditor, you will be encouraged to drive, develop, and continuously improve the way we work – making sure we do things correctly, mature the organization and make us more resilient.

Conducting audits
Joining our QHSE & Sustainability team, you will act as an ambassador and support for the QEHS & Sustainability management.

We see an auditor as a job, where you evaluate and assess how helpful and how implemented processes are. It is more about process confirmation where you via your engagements with your colleagues, your findings and your business understanding will have an impact on how processes can be optimized and improved.

Responsibility

• Propose findings to the lead auditor/quality director
• Assess and audit for assurance and compliance
• Propose sustainable opportunities for improvement and business success
• Support the development of a learning, blame-free culture
• Apply systems thinking to support effective outcomes

• Being the quality conscience by e.g. raising awareness of e.g. customer’s and stakeholder’s needs advocating their representation
• Motivate and engage with the auditee by e.g. creating an open environment and by encouraging open discussions about quality issues and opportunities
• Advocate for fact-based thinking and decision-making

Qualifications

You have a background as freight forwarder and gets motivated by talking to many different people from the organization. You are curious by nature and like to give and take feed-back.

You understand the importance of, and the complexity given by stakeholder’s needs and have worked successfully with multiple teams across DSV and is seen as respected and a well-regarded colleague.

Through your job(s) in DSV you have developed a solid understanding of key processes, systems and operation in both our regions and some of our verticals.
You like to investigate, optimize and look for opportunities which keep us in compliance and develops our business.

In addition to this, you may have

Some knowledge of eg. TAPA, Health & Safety rules and quality procedures, as well as the commitment to learn more about quality, sustainability and management system.

Furthermore, you may have:

• Understanding of investigative methodologies and tools and risk identification and mitigation strategies as well as root cause analysis;
• Knowledge of international and local laws and regulations related to compliance;
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
