      POSITION: Front Desk Assistant (Part-Time, Non-Exempt)

      COMPENSATION: Pursuant to CT regulations, if this job is performed in CT, the salary range is $16.50 plus bonus potential.

      SUMMARY

      A Cardinal Group Front Desk Assistant is an adaptive, outgoing, and hardworking leader. This position requires the ability to maintain high quality customer service and lead the front desk team.

      RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)

      • Welcomes students and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering questions or referring inquiries.
      • Oversees the front desk team to ensure that all necessary tasks are completed and excellent customer service is given to all residents and visitors.
      • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
      • Uses MS Word and Outlook effectively to create documents, send emails, and maintain calendar appointments.
      • Assists with on-campus housing fairs and other related high school marketing events.
      • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
      • Participates in Cardinal U as required.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Outlook accurately and effectively.
      • Excellent customer service skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication.
      • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
      • Ability to work up to forty hours per week including weekends.

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
