What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Tackle a wide variety of technical problems throughout the stack and contribute to all parts of the product code base
- Build a simple, beautiful, and intuitive product that customers genuinely love
- Collaborate closely with the Founder to understand customer pain points, propose solutions, and launch daily improvements
- Architect, test, and refine the product suite
- Work with a small team of 3 engineers to touch any part of the tech stack
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with full-stack engineering
- Comfortable working with RoR, Python, or similar languages for back-end development
- Solid experience with JavaScript, preferably with Ember
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, get-stuff-done attitude
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Passion for creating memorable and delightful customer experiences
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud services
- Experience turning wireframes and mockups into executed code
