What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Assist in building and integrating RESTful APIs with VA healthcare systems
- Implement AI-powered features using tools such as Amazon Comprehend Medical and TensorFlow
- Develop and maintain React-based web applications that integrate with backend APIs
- Support the integration of AI and machine learning tools for enhanced patient engagement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in Java development
- Basic knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs
- Exposure to React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
- Ability to work in an agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Internship or project experience in full-stack Java development with AI integration
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and AI/ML tools
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library)
- Understanding of secure AI applications in compliance with HIPAA and FISMA standards
