Christ Community Health Services, a faith-based, mission-driven healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support a pediatrician in a busy, multi-specialty primary care clinic located in an underserved area of Memphis, TN. This is a full-time, weekday-only position ideal for someone pursuing a career in healthcare and seeking meaningful clinical experience.

Location: Memphis, TN

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, full-time hours (no weekends or holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently document all patient encounters in real-time during medical exams

• Record patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans as directed by the physician

• Assist in updating patient medical records and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements

• Support clinic workflow by collaborating with medical staff and front office as needed

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or pre-health coursework preferred

• Prior experience as a scribe or in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required

• Strong attention to detail, typing speed, and accuracy

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Compassionate, professional demeanor with a strong interest in healthcare

• Comfort working in a Christian environment that seeks to reflect the love of Christ in patient care
